Hey Gorgeous, I’m Shani

For as long as I can remember I have always had a deep calling to help others in some way, to be of service. Naturally I fell into this space of supporting mums after I became a mother myself at the tender age of 20.

This transition for me was incredibly fractured and so too was the connection I had, or didn’t have, with my daughter initially. I was so unprepared to become a mother as I had this belief that it was all that I was born to do, so why would I need to be doing any preparation, right? I had put all of my trust in what “I knew” and with that I would be fine. Ultimately, I knew very, very little and the support systems I so desperately needed were nowhere to be seen.

Four pregnancies and births later, two of which were high risk, I have experienced the broken system, been left to figure it out alone and I have been silenced by professionals, whom I thought I could trust,  when speaking my motherly instincts. This led me to having little trust in myself and stopped me from speaking up when I knew things weren’t right.

Along the way I have also experienced professionals that have fully advocated for me and trusted in me, showing me how beautiful this transition into motherhood and the journey can really be.  While birthing each of my babes brought a new awakening to my life and sparked something new within me, I have been on a five year journey of understanding who I am, discovering some really deep and dark shadows that lived deep within me, uncovered an entirely new way of living life, and most importantly I have forgiven myself for all that has been in my life.

And all of this lands me here.

I am so passionate about supporting and holding mums through learning to trust themselves and how to make informed decisions, in what is an incredibly sacred journey. I am so passionate about guiding mums on their transition into and through motherhood to connect with the new, upgraded version of themselves.

I am so excited to have you here and I look forward to supporting you on your journey, whether that is into motherhood and in postpartum or through motherhood as you connect with your new identity.

Big love,  Shani
