A service where we spend time together debunking your fears, values and wishes, discussing your care options and informed choice as well as evidence based education.. We will go through the birth map and spend time creating yours so that you can enter your birth space confident knowing everyone knows how your birth is to play out.

As you meet your baby and new identity of yourself, support is key. Postpartum is raw, vulnerable and secred. From the time of evolution we were not made to do postpartum alone and never would a Mum have been expected to pick up all the roles while caring for a newborn and raising a baby. Unlike the system, I will support you and mother you. You too have just been born (reborn) and you deserve the support, nurturing, space as much as your little one. Let’s ride this journey together and thrive during your postpartum.
Circle of Support
This package has everything included that you need to feel empowered entering your birth space. This package is designed to meet you where you are right now, wether that be 6 weeks or 35 weeks pregnant, to go on a journey together where we debunk your fears, values and wishes, plan out your birth map, a container for you to feel safe to speak and feel everything that comes up for you. Included is TENS machine hire, birth support and postpartum support.

Shani was an indispensable support in the weeks following the birth of our first baby.
Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to meet whilst I was pregnant, but Shani began visiting 1 week after our bub was born. Sometimes we talked - debriefing birth, discussing the new insecurities surrounding motherhood, navigating visitors and new emotions.
Other visits, Shani would whisk my crying baby from me and suggest that I have a sleep. Shani was always happy to share her own experiences and wisdom when asked, but never judged or shoved her opinions down my throat.
After every visit I felt more empowered as a Mum and a little more rested; not to mention the lovely food, clean kitchen, and clothes hung on line. I would recommended Shani to any expectant Mum - a gem of a person and a fantastic service.

I liken a Doula as your best friend, but for your pregnancy and postpartum journey. We will get to know each other very well through a very raw and sacred journey.
I am here for emotional support, informational support, to be your sounding board and to be your biggest cheerleader. The goal is to support you and provide you with evidence based education, and create the environment for a positive and empowering birth experience. Every Doula is different and it’s important to find a Doula that fits your needs and desires and to make sure that you gel.

When seeking a birth doula there is no said time that you should reach out. In saying that, the earlier that you can connect and begin to build a relationship with your doula this will enhance your birth experience.
Engaging a doula as early as you can allows time to work through any fears you may have, wishes and values at a pace that is beneficial to you.
